I love fall in October..is cool and the leaves are mostly fallen. And then the rain comes which is okay because it’s not real cold yet. It does make me wonder about bible times..what did they do when season come and go..

So, where I work I sometimes gets items that people leave behind. Thats where my furniture has come from and more..Since I move into my new place I’ve gotten a crockpot and bread maker…i’m so exicited to make all the new stuff. I already made crockpot chicken and crockpot pizza

So we have just about everything in my new apt. It’s a little weird because when I lived in a one bedroom before, I didn’t have much..now I have so much I’m not sure what to do with it all.. but I LOVE IT ALL!! I feel so grown up. J has been a big help as well.. Look for more news about the apt…

Jay and I went to look at my one bedroom today. They put some extra lighting in the kitchen, which looks really cool. I decided that I’m going to paint the kitchen an orange color so that its matched the lighting. Only a 4 days until I move and it’s coming up fast. I’ve got lots of boxes packed but doesn’t seem like enough.My Birthday is today so I’m not doing much with the moving or packing. My dad came to town so I’m just hanging out with him until the Big Moving day. No other words probably until after the move…

Part 6:

I switched it up a little bit and instead of thinking about what to put in the new place and decorating. I started thinking, where am I’m getting boxes and who will help me move and what dates am I for sure going to move? Yes I probably should of thought of this first but lets face it I a girlie girl.

Part 5:

Pack some boxes or just wait? I do have a month in this room. Some of my novelty items are already off the walls and shelves. I did decide not to paint the kitchen in my new place. I plan on paint the rings on my bedroom window wall. And my desk space and midnight blue colors. I’ve got so many different ideas and not enough room or wall space.

Next hurtle to moving on and up!

Part 4:

I’ve let tons of people know I’m moving and they have giving tons of ideas as well. Which is great and not so great. Everyones’ style is different and not all of the ideas would go together. So I’ll just get everything in and go from there.
I went to IKEA today with Jay, mom, sister, my aunt and uncle. It was so fun and I saw tons of items I wanted for my apartment and just because I always find thing multipurpose and cute. Jay has to let me know it’s not a “must have at this time” He is so cute! It’s funny how when you go window shopping you say lots of phrases like “I want that for Christmas” and “ Can you get me this for my birthday?” not matter what time of year it is either. I love to people watch at IKEA as well. You get the busy shoppers, who are only the for certain items and then want to me out. The strollers, who just wander from model to model and table to table just look in awe. The up tights, who don’t really want to be there but because there wife wanted to go or friends and family have never been to one then they got dragged along and just want out and to know what all the shortcuts are.

Part 3:

Jay and I decided I’m going to paint red rings on a wall in my bedroom. So many shades of red and the names are crazy.
Also, I’ve got a desk space I’d like to paint and the kitchen. Too much? Maybe? Sounds like a lot of work but fun at the same time and I want to stay for at least a year so why not make it home. Man, what color should I do the desk space or the kitchen? Okay now its sounds like a lot… maybe I should think about something else for a while. I do need boxes to move.

Part 2:

I made a plan to look at a one bedroom with my boyfriend, well just call him Jay. First we measured all my furniture to make sure it will fit right. Couch, chairs,bed, dresser, TV I’ve got a lot more than you thought.
On to look at the one bedroom now. Couch, and everything fits. YAY!! Way less stress. It’s really going to feel more like home and my own little place. Jay was way excited to help me and gave tons of ideas. Most of which I would of never think of.

More moving on when will I move up?

Good old process of Elimination

Step 1:

So with the new choice I’ve made of moving into a one bedroom there were more things to think about then just moving. Here we go…

Size: 1 bedroom 1 bath

Which floor to live on? Pros & Cons:

1^st Floor-no stairs, people walking by can look in my apartment can look in my windows, all visitors can visit without complication. Only one apartment is above me.

2^nd Floor-some stairs, only a few people can look into my apartment, most if not all visitors can come over because of stairs, Arms may bet tired carrying groceries up the stairs. An apartment above and below me. Heat would stay in the cooler months aka help save on a power bill.

3^rd floor-LOTS of stairs, not may visit, because of stairs, Arms will fall off carrying things and I just thinks it’s a lot. But nice think no one is above me.

Ok well at this point looks like stairs are a big part of my apartment. But when you can all ages visit you, it’s a good idea to think about.

Is price something I could do?

Paint walls or just hang photos?

Is there good guest parking available and somewhat near the apartment.

Apartment facing north, south, east, west, which home is best?

Buy new furniture or keep mine use other peoples or make due with what I’ve got?

Fish tank or frog, both or neither?

Keep my room red or change everything up?

I think I’ll face the east. I like the morning sun. Fish tank and frog can wait until I’m fully moved in,price is good for where it’s at the with my raise it should would great. Paint a couple walls and hang photos as well, 2^nd floor, lots of guest parking so I think I’m doing good with the process of elimination complete!

Next hurdle to moving on…and up?
